Truly appreciate for visiting KAAA (Korea Auto Auction Association) well known for its long history and tradition.

Our association is a professional used car distribution organization composed with automobile auction houses which supply used cars to around 6,000 dealers and exporters nationwide through the auction system.

Our association prioritizes the win-win business relationships not only with used car dealers who participate in the auction bidding, but also with the companies who operate the car auction house.

As the second president of the association, I promise to operate the association in the following directions for the advancement of used car distribution and mutual growth with market participants.

Firstly, we will faithfully fulfill the key role of supplying high-quality vehicles to the market fairly, which is the right function of an auction. This will be the first step to build a trust aiming for the co-existence with used car dealers. In order to improve the auction system and advance the information delivery system along with the advent of the information era, we will encourage more stakeholders to participate in the advancement.

Secondly, we will strengthen the government related activities. The car auction industry plays an important role in the advancement of the used car distribution. We will collect the various opinions of members and develop detailed rules to be reflected in the policy. As a representative channel to deliver the voices of industry, we will request amendments of related laws and prepare countermeasures for various industry challenges.

Thirdly, as a new core business, we will focus on the development of data-based intellectual property. The auction data of 400,000 units per year disappears meaninglessly. The association will establish the standard of vehicle performance inspection and strengthen the data analysis. Objective market price calculation will be the starting point of the advancement of used car distribution and the creation of win-win business structure.

Please kindly understand that we are not able to reveal all business information promoted by the association on our homepage; however, we will communicate with and listen to our customers through more diverse opportunities in near future. The active participation, advice and encouragement of members will be a great motivation for vitalizing the association.

Members, the association's secretariat, and all industry officials will closely work together to make KAAA (Korea Auto Auction Association) contribute to the expansion of the used car market and export market in Korea.
